Americans addicted to spending!! American's have been forced into consumerism because our economy is 70% made up of SHOPPERS who spend uncontrollably with less that 2% in their savings. Compare that with China where their economy is 60% investments and exports, they are able to produce things the world wants and can sustain their country in that way. WE don't have to be consumers, we can in fact, profit off of the spending and contribute to our economy in ways that make us investors and we can export our own products to our communities.
