Bouldering for 3 Years… But Can I Climb These V2s in Oslo?

Many climbers from my area say that the "beginner" boulders in Oslo feel way harder than expected. After 3 years of climbing (usually around V4-V5), I spent a full day at Klatreverket Løkka in Oslo trying to complete every single blue problem — which are graded around V2 or frensh 5-5+. The challenge? No more than five tries per boulder. In this video, I break down my experience, from quick flashes to frustrating cruxes — and even one that shut me down completely. Are these really beginner boulders… or is Oslo just built different? Since one area of the gym was closed for setting, I missed out on 2-3 more blue problems that I’d love to try next time. ________________________________________________________________________ Music by epidemic sound Chapters: 0:00 Introduction: Why Oslo’s Blue Boulders Might Be Harder 1:11 Flashing the First 5 Blue Problems — Easy But Fun Moves 3:26 Misunderstood Beta on Orange, Pink & Yellow Problems 4:56 Working Harder: 3 Challenging Blue Boulders 8:19 The Hardest Blue Boulders: Overhangs & Dynamic Moves 13:45 The Boulder I Couldn’t Send — Mental Block & Scary Moves 15:28 Conclusion: Are Oslo’s Blue Problems Really V2?
