In this video, I challenge myself to completely change my climbing style – from dynamic and fast to slow and static! Inspired by a comment on my last video, I attempt to send some v4 boulders using a totally different approach. Can a climber who’s used to explosive moves adapt to static climbing? Watch as I experiment with new techniques and push my limits to find out! Have you ever tried switching up your climbing style, from dynamic to static, or vice versa? How did it affect your climbing? Do you think this type of training could help you improve your technique or performance? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below – I’d love to hear about your experiences! ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Music by epidemic sound Climbing center: Høyt Under Taket Tønsberg Chapters: 0:00 Intro 0:26 Presentation of the video 1:54 Dynamic Style from before (BOULDER 1) 2:15 Trying to go Static (BOULDER 1) 3:40 Dynamic Style from before (BOULDER 2) 4:11 Trying to go Static (BOULDER 2) 5:44 Dynamic Style from before (BOULDER 3) 6:12 Trying to go Static (BOULDER 3) 8:37 Dynamic Style from before (BOULDER 4) 8:54 Trying to go Static (BOULDER 4) 11:24 Dynamic Style from before (BOULDER 5) 11:42 Trying to go Static (BOULDER 5) 13:00 Tips from Adam Ondra 15:30 Finish Talk
