Fall Geode Bling It Mica Flakes, Rezin Arte Luster Pigments & Galaxy Diamond #BlingItContest #YT100

This project will be my entry for the Colour Arte Bling It Contest. It showcase the use of Champagne Pearl Mica Flakes and Rezin Arte Epoxy Luster Pigments Golden Autumn and Rezin Arte Galaxy Diamond Pigments of Tigers Eye, Myrtle Green and Salted Caramel. All this lusciousness is covered with a Multi layers of Stone Coat Countertop Art Coat Resin. This is Part 1 of the making of this Geode. I started with a 24" by 24" MDF board, cut a random shape and used a base coat of Brown Spray Paint, and hit it with a light mist of Gold Spray Paint. I begin laying the base colors of my design in rings using Artist Loft Metallic Green, Orange and Yellow and added a center of DecoArt Extreme Sheen 24KT Gold. I dyed the Champagne Pearl Mica Flakes using Alcohol Inks of Orange, Yellow, Green and mixed the Epoxy Pigments Tigers Eye and Salted Caramel in 91% Alcohol . I used smaller mica Flakes and colored them with Yellow AI with Tigers Eye Epoxy Pigments and Orange AI also mixed with Tigers Eye. I allowed the Mica Flakes to dry. Using Easy Sculpt Resin I rolled out boarders to surround each of the color rings on the broad.
