Water had gotten into the keypad rending it useless. Also probably worth mentioning that MaxxFan didn't respond to 4 emails I sent them asking for support to identify the part numbers needed. Pretty shocking really. these fans are notorious for having water issues as they are not adequately weatherproofed to handle normal operation and condensation.
