Social Media is Changing They Way Our Society Fundamentally Operates

I want to discuss some concerning trends and apps I'm noticing in the realm of social media and screen time. Let me be clear, I have nothing against technology; in fact, I believe it can be a valuable tool for children to learn and navigate the digital landscape. Technology is an integral part of our lives, and it certainly has its advantages. However, the way we are utilizing it and the level of access we grant our children raises several issues. There's a growing conversation around "iPad kids," and it often revolves around the practice of handing a tablet to a child and letting them roam freely in the digital world. While devices can provide educational content, it's vital to remain vigilant about what our children are consuming. Also there are many studies that show e-learning has no more benefit than traditional pencil and paper learning and in fact teachers are noticing children's writing and reading skills are lacking. We need to be mindful of the shows, games, and apps they engage with, as well as the potential impact on their development and well-being.
