Schmincke Titanium White gouache on Jacksons (UK/worldwide) here

For white highlights, I use a pro-grade PW6 titanium white gouache like Schmincke. It gives me opaque, clean highlights over watercolor without the frustration I had with gel pens. This is the Jackson’s link for UK/worldwide shoppers.
