
Mica powders are one of the easiest ways to make DIY watercolor paint because they’re already a fine powder—perfect for mixing with binder. The larger set is great if you want lots of color options and you plan to make bigger batches. I use mica as a fun, shimmery effect in paintings rather than a traditional pigment replacement.
