Plastic Bushings? IGUS is a thing and it might be in your Pedal! Crankbrothers Stamp 1

If I said plastic bushing you might not think that's a good thing, but IGUS is real...and calling it plastic isn't actually fair. From what I understand IGUS bushings can last longer that some oil impregnated metal bushings. Impressive. That said, I can't help but feel - at least for MTB pedals - that it is trying to solve a problem that isn't really a problem since standard pedal bearings have been doing a fine job for years.
