Ozark Trail FS.2 Slalom or Mongoose Ledge X1/X2 | Was Project Ledge X1 Really a $3000 build?

In 2021 I completed Project Ledge X1, a build based on the Mongoose Ledge X1. That build cost me over $3000 at the time, and I am still riding the bike today. However, 2025 is a different world than 2021, both in the cost of products and the overall bike landscape. There are new bikes like the Ozark Trail FS.2 Slalom. In this video I give my opinions on which bike would be a better basis for a project bike given the differences and costs today.
