Some people say modern Schwinn bikes aren't REAL Schwinn and aren't built to the standard they used to be. Schwinn used to be a bike shop brand and possibly built to last practically forever. This bike might be a testament to that as this 1978 Schwinn Suburban appears to have all original parts. It is amazing to see a bike that is practically all steel holding up so well and with so little rust. Made in the USA in august of 1978. Impressive What do you think? Is a Schwinn a Schwinn no matter where it was made and how old it is? Do you have any fond memories of a bike like this?
