It's not always easy to admit defeat, or to realize sunk cost fallacy is real and when to walk away. My desire for a vintage scooter is an excellent example. I love the idea, the history, and the style...but the reality is they are super maintenance heavy, and for someone that rides regularly, a money pit. I'm moving back to modern.
