JUNK? Schwinn AL Comp 5-years Later | Budget Bikes & Budget Parts Experience

Big Box (budget) bikes are junk? 5 years ago I upgraded the Schwinn Al Comp over the course of 11 months. In 2020 & 2021 it was my most ridden bike. Since I usually ride at least 3 times a week that's a LOT of riding with a single bike. Especially a budget bike with budget parts. This bike has been a champ. It even handled the 7-8 months of weather exposure without any negative effects. Cosmetically and functionally it is working great....after 5 years! That said, the Al Comp has been retired and replaced. The Axum Sport 27.5 is basically the new comp. A bike I've already reviewed (link below).
