The J. Rockett El Hombre is a simple, easy-to-use overdrive that feels really amp-like and touch sensitive under my hands. In my rig it delivers rich harmonics, a great medium drive “rip,” and plenty of range from low-gain sparkle to more saturated tones, with the Bite knob letting me fine-tune how aggressive or smooth it gets.
