In this video I pulled up to the Charlotte FC x Black Sheep x adidas Skateboarding demo, and it was one of those days where my two favorite hobbies actually collide in real life. I’m there for the skating, obviously, but the whole vibe of a soccer collab mixed with a legit skate shop and adidas just hits different. I walk you through what it’s like being at a demo—seeing the setup, catching the energy from the crowd, and soaking up that “everybody’s here to have a good time and skate” feeling. I also talk about why events like this matter if you skate: you get to watch people rip in person, get motivated to try stuff you’ve been putting off, and connect with the local scene. Even if you’re not landing bangers, just showing up, filming a little, and pushing around with friends is a win.
