I have seen way too many artists go into credit card debt and put themselves in financially precarious situations to start something new, when taking the slow & sustainable approach would have made them better off. Some of the advice shared in this video might seem beginner/basic to some, and that's okay! Many people were not given an education in pretty basic personal finance, so I think it's important to rehash some relatively beginner info just in case. Ultimately, your art isn't a get rich quick scheme. Results will not be immediate. Keep yourself safe, make good choices, and make big investments with a healthy dose of caution.
