Reorganizing my art studio + painting a master study! ✎ a productive oil painting vlog

I've honestly been a bit frustrated with my oil painting skills lately, and you know what that means-- master studies! I've been doing a lot of these lately and I think this is the best one yet. Loose but deliberate brushwork is one of the skills I desperately want to have and absolutely suck at. Luckily, Willard Metcalf is an American impressionist whose work perfectly embodies what mine lacks, so I'm taking a page out of his book and deconstructing one of his oil paintings.
