The Fear That Stops Most Watercolor Beginners

In this video, I’m sharing a simple 5-minute watercolor koi fish exercise while we talk about something many artists experience but don’t always talk about — the fear of watercolor and fear of rejection when creating art. This quick study is a great way to loosen up, let go of perfection, and allow the paint to do what watercolor does best. Sometimes the best way to build confidence is to paint something small, simple, and just enjoy the process.
