We Found One of Our Animals Barely Alive in the Snowstorm

The first day of this major snowstorm hit harder than we expected. Temperatures dropped fast, the snow came in heavy, and everything on the homestead changed almost overnight. While checking on the animals and making sure everyone was safe, we came across something we were not prepared for… one of our animals was on the verge of death. Moments like this are the reality of living this life. There’s no pause button when a storm moves in, and there’s no ignoring the responsibility that comes with caring for animals in extreme weather. What started as a normal winter prep day quickly turned into a fight to save a life.
