Day 2 of our 30-day off grid cabin build is underway and today was WORK. We spent the day burning huge brush piles, laying out our foundation, and hand pouring over 3,600 pounds of concrete to build 15 pillars for the cabin. No shortcuts out here — just sweat, hard work, and long days at the creek property. This cabin is going to sit up off the ground overlooking the creek, and seeing these pillars finally coming together makes the whole project start to feel real.
