The pigs showed up right on time, the alarm went off, and this was supposed to be the moment we finally got them. All I had to do was push the button and drop the trap. But then everything went completely crazy. The trap didn’t drop. In a matter of seconds, every single pig realized something was wrong and took off running for their lives. Just like that, they were gone. After all the waiting, all the planning, and getting the perfect opportunity, we watched it slip away right in front of us. What caused the trap to fail? Was it a mechanical problem, user error, or just plain bad luck? In this video, you’ll see exactly what happened, the moment everything went wrong, and my reaction as the pigs escaped.
