Today started with a serious surprise when one of our dogs got into something dangerous down by the creek, reminding us just how quickly things can go wrong out here in the woods. We’ll show you what happened, how we handled it, and why it had us on edge. After dealing with the unexpected danger, it was time to get back to work on the off-grid cabin project. We put in a full day finishing the deck, making sure everything was solid, level, and ready for the next big step. After weeks of planning, digging, pouring concrete, setting posts, and building the platform, the deck is finally complete! The exciting news? The cabin is now officially ready for framing! This project is starting to take shape, and for the first time you can really see the future cabin coming together in the middle of the Oklahoma woods.
