Power Queen Mini Battery
This Power Queen 12.8v 100Ah mini battery is my favorite compact battery, and it’s what powers this whole off-grid gantry lift. I run these in my kayaks, bass boats, and in the back of my truck for overland gear—lightweight, small, and it just flat works. It’s also small enough to fit inside an Apache case and still seal up clean.

- +Fits in tight spaces and can be mounted in different orientations (lithium)
Cons
- -You’ll want proper protection like a breaker/fuse in your wiring
- -Higher upfront cost than basic lead-acid options
