In this video I’m sharing the fragrances I genuinely think are super underrated — the ones I hardly ever hear anyone talking about (and for a couple of them, I’ve basically never seen them mentioned). If you’re bored of hearing the same perfumes recommended over and over again, this is for you. I’m going through what each scent actually smells like on my skin, when I reach for it, and the vibe it gives — because that’s always what matters most to me. I start with Mugler Cuir Impertinent, which is one of my all-time favourites: sweet, spicy, warm leather with star anise and a slightly licorice/tobacco edge that feels dark, sexy and mysterious but still wearable. Then I talk about Ella K Reflet Sur L’Okavango — a warm honeyed floral that smells like a “golden goddess covered in flower nectar in the sunshine” and absolutely blooms in heat. I also share my most elevated clean musk (Micallef Royal Muska), a rich hot-pink vanilla dream (Perris Monte Carlo Vanille de Tahiti), a creamy-dry woody Byredo that I’m obsessed with (Desert Dawn), a soft feminine bubble-bath skin scent (Penhaligon’s A Kiss of Bliss), and a refined green-woody Italian masterpiece from Vranjes Firenze (Capugiro) that I think is criminally underdiscovered.
