Even as a fragrance reviewer I struggled to keep up at times, so this list is purely the fragrances I’ve enjoyed the most, worn the most, or found the most unique. I talk you through what made each one special, how they wear, and who I think they’ll suit (and yes, there are a couple that are absolutely “try before you buy”). I cover everything from fresh, bright frankincense (Amouage Existence) and the cleanest laundry scent I’ve found (Room 1015 Love-O-Matic), to boundary-pushing niche that still feels wearable (DS & Durga Cognac Reign). There are also some proper opulent, festive, enveloping scents like Perris Monte Carlo Balsamir, and one of the sexiest boozy ambers I’ve ever smelled (M. Micallef Notorious XO).
