In today’s project share I’m still smashing my Navy Florals paper pad by DCWV, and I had to hop on here and share this one because these boxes were literally going bye-bye the same day. I made six super cute gift boxes using ScrapDiva Designs’ Spring Gift Box die set (April release), and I decorated them with the floral paper, added pearls along the bottom, and even dressed up the inside bottom panel so they feel extra finished. The whole reason I made them was for my dog’s birthday party—so yes, these are “PAWTY favors.” I filled each box with a treat bag (and because I didn’t have cellophane, I made my own by cutting up those clear packaging bags from paper collections). I also show how I folded the makeshift cellophane so the treats stay centered and don’t touch the paper, because some treats can be oily and leave marks. Then I finished everything off with twine (instead of ribbon), plus little paw-print “thank you” tags. These are adorable for dog parties, but honestly they’d be perfect for craft fairs or any season—you can switch up the paper and theme and they hold quite a lot.
