I upgraded to the Mac Studio M4 Max because my M1 MacBook Pro was finally getting pushed by big After Effects projects and heavy multitasking. The biggest day-to-day win is honestly the ports—I can offload multiple drives and cards at the same time instead of doing the eject-and-repeat dance.
