Sledge 6s upgrades: Build, bash & find out

#vitavon #hobbywing #traxxas Between buying the truck and the upgrades for it... sure cost a pretty penny... 🤑 In this video, we start with a stock Traxxas Sledge that's seen better days. We break it down, rebuild it with new parts. The goal is simple: make this Sledge bash and handle big sends. We run into some issues with the MAX 8 ESC, which hits thermal limits and can't keep up with the demands. Despite this setback, the upgraded platform performs really well, and we’re satisfied with the investment. The Sledge takes jumps, bashes, and handles everything we throw at it. In the next video, we’ll upgrade to a more capable MAX 6 ESC and fit new tires. If you’re into more upgrades and real-world testing, stick around. If I was to pick a truck based on platform durability I would have to say the Sledge 6s. We burnt out the stock ESC and the MAX 8... outside of that the arms don't brake, stock, plastics are well made, everything holds up pretty dam well!
