Fittes Flush Vents
Fittes vents were one of the design upgrades I was most excited to integrate because they make the home look custom. I used mud-in vents on the ceiling for a seamless finish (mud, tape, sand, paint), and framed vents on the walls where I didn’t want to redo everything.
Pros
- +Seamless, elevated look compared to standard plastic/metal vents
- +Mud-in option is extremely flush when renovating ceilings
- +Framed option is easier for retrofits without major wall work
Cons
- -Mud-in installs are best done during renovations (more labor)
- -Choosing the right model/material adds planning time
