“They said the bite was slow… you’ve gotta drag a worm.” I hear it all the time — and honestly, I think that mindset holds a lot of people back. In this video, I go the complete opposite direction. Instead of slowing down, I pick up reaction baits and start covering water — throwing a topwater walking bait, a squarebill crankbait, and even a BFS creature bait… and it pays off. This is a real-world example of why you shouldn’t always follow the “rules” when fishing gets tough. Sometimes the fish don’t want slow… sometimes they just need something to react to.
