WERBEVIDEO | Exciting news! Later this year I’ll be travelling to the United States to attend Aquashella New Jersey as a judge for the Aquashella Aquascaping Contest. In this video I share what that means for US aquascapers, which contests you can enter in 2026, and why entering competitions might be the fastest way to improve your aquascaping skills. For many hobbyists, competitions are all about rankings and trophies. I disagree. In this video I tell the story of my friend Florian, who went from being frustrated with his aquascapes to becoming a multiple Top 100 IAPLC aquascaper by studying winning layouts, seeking honest feedback, and surrounding himself with people who shared the same goal.
