The Refoss EM16 Pro is what finally gave me “X-ray vision” into my electric usage, by breaker, so I could stop guessing why the bill was high. It’s hub-free on Wi‑Fi, pulls into Home Assistant, and it’s fast—basically instantaneous when loads turn on and off. The biggest win is the insight: it immediately exposed my mini split as a massive energy hog compared to everything else, even EV charging.
