Welcome back to the channel, Noire Babes. For Episode 32 of Living Noire, we visited Delbar in Buckhead, a Michelin Recommended Middle Eastern restaurant in Atlanta known for its vibrant atmosphere, bold Persian flavors, and lively dining scene. Delbar has become one of the most talked-about restaurants in Buckhead, so we were excited to finally experience it for ourselves. From the moment we walked in, the space felt energetic and full of life — a true Buckhead dinner scene. Here’s what we tried during this visit: • Sharbat e Albaloo (sour cherry and lime drink) • Date Jallab • Mexican Coca-Cola • Latte • Omani shrimp • Hummus with taftoun bread • Za’atar chicken wings • Polo Safid (tahdig saffron rice) • Chilean sea bass • Lamb kebab • Condiment flight (zhoug, spicy tahina, garlic toum) • Pistachio lava cake The hummus was one of the first dishes that really stood out. It was incredibly creamy, topped with crispy chickpeas, and served with warm taftoun bread that was soft, chewy, and perfect for dipping. We also loved the za’atar chicken wings, which had a smoky char from the grill and a savory blend of spices with just a hint of sweetness. The Chilean sea bass was easily one of the highlights of the meal. It was beautifully grilled with an incredible char while still remaining tender and buttery inside, with saffron and onion adding warmth and depth to the dish. The Polo Safid — crispy saffron basmati rice — was another favorite. The golden tahdig crust gave the rice a wonderful crisp texture while the saffron butter added rich flavor. For dessert, we tried the pistachio lava cake with cardamom gelato. While it wasn’t our favorite dish of the night, the meal overall was full of memorable flavors. Delbar is a Michelin Recommended restaurant, and after this visit we can definitely see why. Between the lively atmosphere and the bold, well-executed dishes, it’s a place that makes for a fun night out in Buckhead. ⸻ What to Know Before You Go Location: Buckhead Atlanta Vibe: Lively Middle Eastern restaurant with a vibrant dining scene Best for: Dinner with friends, date nights, and energetic nights out Dress code: Smart casual to elevated casual — stylish dinner looks fit the Buckhead atmosphere well Best seating: Dining room tables to experience the full energy of the space Standout dishes: Chilean sea bass, hummus with taftoun bread, za’atar chicken wings, Polo Safid Dessert note: We’d try a different dessert next time Parking: Buckhead parking can be busy depending on the evening Transportation: Lyft recommended for easier access Mom verdict: Mom Must Come ⸻ Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe — and tell us which dish you’d order first. 📍 ATL-based.
