Welcome back to the channel, Noire Babes. For Episode 33 of Living Noire, we revisited one of our go-to spots for a casual dinner — a place we’ve been to several times over the years and have truly enjoyed in the past. This visit felt a little different, especially since one of our favorite dishes — the short rib — is no longer on the menu. Even so, we wanted to return, try a few staples, and see how the experience holds up now. Here’s what we tried during this visit: • Tammy’s Margarita mocktail • Ginger No-Jito mocktail • Queso (primo) with ground beef, guacamole, and sour cream • Steak arrachera fajitas • Shrimp diablo taco • Crispy beef tacos • Mexican rice (side) • Beans (side) After dinner, we stopped by Paris Baguette for dessert and coffee: • Hazelnut latte • Strawberry soft cream cake The queso (primo) continues to be a standout — rich, creamy, and topped with well-seasoned ground beef. It’s one of those dishes that keeps us coming back. The steak fajitas were also a solid choice, with good flavor and a nice grilled finish. While not something we typically order outside of fajitas, this was one of the stronger dishes of the night. Some items didn’t quite land for us this time, particularly the mocktails and a few of the tacos, but the overall experience was still enjoyable — especially with the level of service we received. Service was attentive, accommodating, and easily one of the highlights of the visit. We ended the night at Paris Baguette, where the strawberry soft cream cake delivered as expected — light, soft, and consistently good — while the latte didn’t quite meet the mark. This visit reminded us that while menus may change, there are still a few reliable dishes here that make it worth stopping by. ⸻ What to Know Before You Go Location: Atlanta Vibe: Casual, lively dining with a familiar neighborhood feel Best for: Casual dinners, quick outings, and familiar favorites Dress code: Casual — relaxed and comfortable works well here Best seating: Standard dining tables Standout dishes: Queso (primo), steak fajitas Dessert note: Head to Paris Baguette for dessert Parking: Varies by location Transportation: Lyft Black round trip — $96.91 Mom verdict: We’ll Tell Mom ⸻ Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe — and tell us which dish you’d order first. 📍 ATL-based.
