This week, we visited Holman & Finch Public House inside Colony Square Midtown — a modern-industrial space known for its craft cocktails and its claim to the “Best Burger in Atlanta.” We came for the burger and left with plenty to talk about. We started with two custom mocktails — bright, fizzy, and fruit-forward — followed by a build-your-own charcuterie board featuring shaved ham, bresaola, and local cheeses paired with a sharp Dijon. The star of the night was the H&F Cheeseburger: tender double patties, smoky bacon, soft house bun, and that signature homemade ketchup. It’s a serious contender for Atlanta’s best burger, though Nordstrom Café still holds the crown in our book. To finish, we enjoyed Americanos and Karin’s Småkakor cookies — a sweet and simple trio that paired perfectly with coffee. The atmosphere blends modern pub warmth with midtown energy, creating a cozy setting for date nights, casual hangouts, and families alike. Service was friendly, pricing fair for Midtown, and the experience overall… solid. We’ll “tell Mom,” but maybe not rush back.
