This visit turned into one of our favorite bakery experiences yet, with standout pastries, an unexpectedly delicious sandwich, and coffee we’ll absolutely be returning for. Here’s what we tried during this visit: • Cheesecake danish • Vanilla & chocolate croissant • Pistachio bombolone • Fruit puff tart • Focaccia sandwich • Coca-Cola • Sprite • Cookie butter iced latte The pistachio bombolone continues to be one of our favorite pastries there — soft, fluffy, and filled with rich pistachio cream. We also loved the vanilla & chocolate croissant, which balanced flaky pastry, dark chocolate, and vanilla cream beautifully. Another standout was the fruit puff tart, which had one of the flakiest puff pastries we’ve had in a long time, paired with fresh berries and cream. For lunch, we shared the focaccia sandwich, layered with prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula, and pesto on warm rosemary focaccia bread. The pesto completely elevated the sandwich and made this one of the biggest surprises of the visit. To drink, we paired the sandwich with a Coke and Sprite before finishing with the cookie butter iced latte, which had a strong coffee flavor balanced by smooth sweetness.
