Atlanta Brunch at Café Intermezzo | Living Noire Ep. 31

Welcome back to the channel, Noire Babes. For Episode 31 of Living Noire, we revisited Café Intermezzo — a longtime Atlanta favorite known for its European café atmosphere, elaborate dessert case, and cozy coffeehouse vibe. While we’ve visited many times over the years for dessert, this time we decided to explore their brunch menu and experience Café Intermezzo in a different way. Here’s what we tried during this visit: • Sweet tea and ginger ale • Naan & lox smoked salmon small plate • Belgian waffle with rosemary potatoes and bacon • Breakfast Americana with chicken sausage • Smoked salmon pasta • Hazelnut chocolate cheesecake • Lavender latte The naan & lox was a standout dish — warm, pillowy naan layered with smoky salmon, peppery arugula, capers, and a bright lemon ginger vinaigrette. It was balanced, fresh, and something we would absolutely order again. We also loved the smoked salmon pasta, which was creamy, comforting, and finished with fresh shaved parmesan and cracked pepper. For dessert, we tried the hazelnut chocolate cheesecake, which had a smooth texture and delicate hazelnut flavor. We paired it with a lavender latte, which was surprisingly one of the highlights of the meal. The floral lavender note was present but not overpowering, and the espresso flavor still came through beautifully.
