the UMax 24.5 2k 165Hz IPS Display
The UMax 24 is my favorite of the two if you want a single clean “portable” desktop-style display. You’re getting 2560x1440 at 165Hz with 100% sRGB, and for me the colors looked spot-on straight out of the box with my MacBook Pro. The only real annoyance is the viewing angles and the finicky little OSD buttons.

- +2K 2560x1440 resolution looks crisp at this size (~122 PPI)
- +165Hz refresh rate is awesome for gaming and smooth motion
- +100% sRGB and good out-of-box color
- +VESA mounting holes and built-in kickstand
Cons
- -Viewing angles aren’t as good as other monitors I’ve tested
- -OSD controls are finicky with tiny buttons
