Several weeks ago, this channel hit 100,000 subscribers. So I wanted to say Thank you for 100k subscribers. I swear this video is not due to me having writer’s block the last few days. I swear. And it’s crazy to think that over 100k people enjoy this content. I was content with knowing 10k people liked it. We’re way past that now. I try to upload weekly. Well, usually once a week to every two weeks because I have a full-time job that isn’t YouTube. But I wanted to take this time to just tell you, the viewer, what you can expect to see from this channel moving forward and a quick timeline of my intentions. In December I’m getting married, and I think that was also a perfect time to take a little break from Youtube. I’ll try to upload a video or two in December but don’t expect 3 or 4 long well-edited review of some tech. They’ll probably be shorter, and less videos in general. So usually when I have a day off of work because of a holiday, I spend it writing scripts, filming shots, and editing videos, so I don’t really take a good break off of any kind of work. And as getting married is a huge life event, I want to spend that part at my emotional best, free from stress. Even if it’s just for a week or so. Then sometime in 2021 I plan to start releasing videos weekly. Tech will still be the focal point of this channel so you can expect primarily videos on that. But I know my reviews of popular youtube sponsors are pretty popular, but it’s easy to run out of those to review. I was thinking of expanding that to either expanding that to YouTuber product lines or a more wholesome take with a series where I dissect channels I love and try to explain why I enjoy them so much. But of course. Tech content takes priority for me. So if I stick to a 4 video a month schedule. 3 of those would be tech related. Let me know what you guys think of those ideas. Also, I was thinking of the future of the channel a bit. And I wanted your opinion on this. I’ve reviewed quite a few YouTube sponsors before, and believe it or not, some have actually reached out and were willing to sponsor a video. I’m not 100% against this idea. Personally I feel, if I listed all the positives and negatives about their products, and if I genuinely think their product was good, even if pricey, then I’m fine with integrating a spot for them. Of course, I’d never do a sponsor spot for a brand that I’ve never tried or ended up disliking through the results of my review, only the ones I found helpful, useful or cool. Let me know what you think of that idea because while I think it’s a good idea, the viewers might not. Let me know what you think. Lastly, I think I’m the worst person at keeping track of social media channels. Like, my youtube channel about page is still the same thing I’ve had since I created my channel. Also, despite being a 100k subscriber channel. I have an awful twitter and instagram. Did you know I had those? Because apparently I did. I don’t post. And at this point I need to get better at that. Because what if something happens to the channel and I need to communicate to subscribers. That would be the best place to do it. So, if you’re interested feel free to follow me on those platforms and I swear, I’ll try to be more active on those. Hopefully. Anyway. That’s all I wanted to say. Thanks for your support. I personally hate doing these update type of videos, but my social media game has been so weak up to this point that this was the easiest way to grab your attention to thank you. So thank you. And I’m looking forward to another 4 years of this and beyond. I’ll see you next time. Bye.
