This means you can download apps like video streaming apps, games and even video calling apps with the right devices. You can even treat it exactly like chromecasts, and push whatever you’re watching on your phone, tablet or computer onto your TV. It has the google assistant built right in, so you can do what you normally do by just holding down the button on the remote. Based on my time with it, I think it’s a fantastic little streaming device that is super versatile. It only costs $50. This is the Aputure MC, a nice $90 light box that can change colors, temperatures, brightness, and has effects. It charges via usb-c and wireless charging. It also comes with this rubber diffusion attachment, and a little ball-head cold-shoe mount that you can stick on top of your camera. Overall, a super portable and versatile little light. Next we have the Yeti Nano, a $99 microphone. The Nano has a few features missing, sounds just as good and is smaller than the bigger yeti and comes in different colors. This microphone would be a significant upgrade to using the mic off of your earbuds, computer, or phone during video calls and because of its portable size it’s easier to store in your bag. This is the Peak Design tech pouch. It’s a tech organizing pouch that costs $60. It feels premium with a nice waterproof nylon exterior and can fit quite a bit of stuff inside like my Sony headphones and nintendo switch with joycons along with a few other items. All at the same time. These are the MX Master 3 & MX Keys keyboard. These have been my go-to peripherals. They can seamlessly switch to different devices. The MX Keys has a backlight that turns on when your hands get close to it, and the chiclet style keys are pretty good. Not good mechanical keyboard good. But good enough to type on 8 hours a day. Trust me. Overall, together they’re pricey at $200. This is the Gorillapod. A flexible tripod that can hold your camera, or webcam, if it has a standard ¼-20 tripod mounting hole. I found this useful for mounting my camera for video calls and getting the best angle, but of course, you could do the same to a webcam and change things up. Next we have the Ekster Parliament wallet. It’s true that I’ve been sponsored by them before. However, I ended up switching to using their wallet full time over my normal trifold wallet because I genuinely do like their wallets. It has this nice little button that when you press, the cards come up for you to easily pull out the one you want. I feel like I fit less cards in the wallet than a regular leather wallet, I’ve learned to deal with it but I can see people who carry a lot of cards or even coins in their wallet avoiding it. This is the Samsung T7 Touch. An ssd that has speeds of up to 1000 MB/s read speed and a fingerprint sensor to protect its contents. The build of the drive itself feels premium with a metal exterior, and it comes with both a usb c to usb c cable and a usb c to usb a cable. If you don’t care for the fingerprint security features, there’s also a Samsung T7 non-touch. It’s just as fast but cheaper. These are great drives, and I use them for all of my video editing. I know, the xbox series x, and PS5 are really difficult to find right now. But a 2nd controller would be nice. Even if they own an older console.
