Amtrak Empire Builder Train Crosses The Columbia River in Southeastern Washington

In this aerial train video you see Amtrak's "Empire Builder" crossing the Columbia River in the Tri Cities in southeastern Washington state. The train heads south from the city of Pasco, Washington, and crosses over the river to Kennewick, Washington. This train, led by Amtrak locomotive 314, had just left the station in Pasco and is heading southwest to Portland, Oregon. This is Amtrak train route 27, which began in Chicago, Illinois. When the train gets to Spokane, Washington, the route branches in two directions. Some of the cars go to Seattle, Washington, and others go to Portland, Oregon. What you're seeing in this video is the four Superliner cars that were going to Portland on this particular day. The music used in this video is called "Black Moons" and was performed by The 126ers.
