The anabolic response to protein ingestion during recovery from exercise has no upper limit in magnitude and duration in vivo in humans
This is one of the studies I like pointing to when people repeat the idea that protein “tops out” and anything beyond that is pointless. The findings support what many of us see in practice—protein matters for recovery, and the response isn’t as limited as the internet makes it sound. It’s a helpful reference if you’re an athlete trying to get stronger while leaning out.
