They said it shouldn't be done. Or maybe it couldn't be done... I didn't listen. This is my second attempt at Kratky method hydroponic potatoes. No grow media or electricity was used. The video may amuse you, but perhaps something similar to this setup could grow large amounts of disease free potatoes.
