Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in the next 2 chs, 3 sc in the last ch, (working up the underside of the foundation chain row) sc in the next 2 chs, 2 sc in the last ch, join with a sl st to the first sc (10). Ch 1, do not turn R2: 2 sc in the same st as joining, sc, hdc, 2 hdc in each of the next 4 sts, hdc, sc, 2 sc in each of the last 2 sts (this includes the sl st from the previous join), join with a sl st to the top of the first sc (18). Ch 1, do not turn R3: 2 sc in the same st as joining, sc in the next 3 sts, hdc, (2 hdc, hdc) 4 times, sc in the next 3 sts, 2 sc in the next st, sc, join with a sl st to the first sc (24).
