MinimaList

MinimaList is one of those apps that keeps your to-do list super clean and simple, which I love for school. If you get overwhelmed by complicated systems, this is a really nice way to track assignments and daily tasks without extra clutter.

What Janice Studies says

hey guys it's janice welcome back to another video for this video i'm gonna be switching gears over to android i'll be showing a few useful apps for students who use android phones so let's get started the first app is minimalist it's a to-do list maker and focus timer with an actually minimalistic interface you essentially start with a blank screen and to add a new task you just swipe down on the screen tapping on the task brings you to the focus timer which is pretty convenient if you like using the pomodoro method for this timer you can adjust your working time as well as the duration of your short and long breaks not only that but the focus timer also lets you toggle on ambient sounds such as ticking water and more if you're done a task you simply just swipe right on it with your finger and it crosses off this app is great for those who know exactly what they need to do and just want to focus on getting tasks done without the extra little details that other apps offer the next app is tusk which is just a stunning to do application with so many beautiful little details that i can't even believe it's free to begin with when you first add a task you're met with a list of categories ranging from household stuff to self-care to education to friends and family and more all with adorable icons these are great for giving you a starting point if you kind of don't know what to do or don't know what to label your tasks tapping into a category gives you a list of specific tasks that you can use if you don't want pre-made tasks you can always just enter your own custom one so it's more relevant to you one thing that you guys might really appreciate about this app is the customization from icons to even the little details when creating the task itself aside from all the icons that make the app both fun and unique at the same time when creating a task you can actually choose to make it a one-time task or regular task set how many times a day you want to do it and when during the day so if you're the type who likes to really narrow down all the little details of your plans then this app would be great for you as you complete these tasks you'll find that you also achieve badges of accomplishment i also really appreciate this monthly view in the app where you can tap on each day see the tasks for that day and you even have a progress bar under the date to show how productive you were the next app is audible which is a platform with a large selection of audiobooks or audio titles from many different genres such as self-development fiction comedy and more a great title you can find in audible is how to become a straight a student by cal newport it's super encouraging if you're a student who wants to improve your grades and study habits there are so many useful chapters including ones about managing time combining procrastination taking good notes etc and it also comes with a free pdf to follow with this piece is highly rated by a lot of college students if not this there are still lots of other great titles to choose from like 7 habits of highly effective people which is a highly rated piece and you may find helpful as well for encouraging good habits currently i'm almost done listening to being mortal by atul gawande also a very insightful audio title for those of you interested in going into healthcare if you'd like to sign up you can visit audible
com janice or text janus to 500 500 the next app is zen flip clock try saying that super fast 10 times this is a simple but stunning clock slash timer slash stopwatch that you can use to time your work sessions just a simple swipe to the right or left will bring up either the timer or stopwatch there's a few different color themes to choose from all of them would look great on any desk setup you can also use this app in landscape mode by toggling it on in the settings overall it's a very simple but aesthetic looking app that you can set on your desk while you're working last but not least we have foca i don't know why but these focused timer apps seem to just draw me in this one lets you label your focus category so they already have a bunch of pre-made ones like work study workout etc like minimalist this one also provides ambient sound like water tides and cafe sounds so that's it for the apps in this video there is obviously many more out there in the play store let me know if you like this kind of video catered to android users if you found this video helpful or you enjoyed it please give it a thumbs up leave a comment hit the subscribe button and turn on the bell so you don't miss my next video i'll see you guys next time
