This edit was filmed in December 2017 in Des Moines, Iowa. I stopped there to visit my friend Caleb Smith when moving to Vermont from Austin, Texas. On my first night there, Caleb and his roommate, A.J. Keene, took me to skate downtown. The next day they took me to Skateland, a skating rink and skatepark owned by speed skating legend Dante Muse.
