Reviving an Epiphone SG: back to life

Guitar SOS, we dive into a well-loved Epiphone SG400 that arrived with a suspicious crack in the finish. Was it just cosmetic—or a serious neck crack? We investigate thoroughly, refinish the area, and give this guitar a fresh start with a new nut and a Monty’s Relic Wax fretboard conditioning. We also take a close look at the electronics, prepping the SG400 for a humbucker-to-P90 conversion to unlock a whole new tonal palette.
