This is the pedal the whole video is about: the NUX 6ixty 5ive. I like it because it’s transparent, has loads of headroom, and can go from mild, responsive drive to big saturation while still sounding open. For around £35 it genuinely delivers and has become one of my favourite overdrives for real-world playing.
Pros

- +Bass and treble controls are more flexible than a single tone knob
- +Works well for gigs as a lead boost or low-gain drive
Cons
- -Not a 1:1 boutique pedal replacement if you specifically want a Vemuram Jan Ray
- -Unity gain changes as you add more gain, so you may need to re-balance levels
