The Venetian Spritz is probably the oldest known and if not the original before Aperol Spritz take over or any other recipe. There's no written recipe or evidence of when and who created it, but every bartender knows it in Italy. The Italicus Spritz is a more modern version, but the Rosolio Di Bergamoto was made far more back in Italy, dating back to the Emperor's times. In fact, the Rosolio was more popular than wine at some point. No matter which one you mix and try, both Spritz Recipes are simple, refreshing and genuinely delicious.
