Welcome to my first official video in Austin, Texas—because yeah, I actually moved. I kick things off with the real number one reason we’re here: Summer Moon Coffee. I grab a half Winter Moon latte (should’ve done a quarter moon, but I treated myself) and talk about their “Moon Milk,” which is basically the sweetest, most addictive latte situation ever. From there, I break down the move a bit more and why this next chapter made sense after leaving Chicago. When we were deciding, we literally sat down and looked at the entire map of the US. It really came down to California vs Texas. LA is obviously insane for what I do, and cost wasn’t the only factor (downtown Chicago isn’t exactly cheap either), but Austin just made more sense for our lifestyle right now. I show you the new barebones office setup—bigger room, tall ceilings, temporary desk, Studio Displays, Lab Culture neon, and all the gear I’m testing like the MacBook Neo and iPhone 17e. Austin checks a lot of boxes: warmer weather (I’ll take hot over walking to the gym in -15), a legit creator hub with constant events (SXSW is popping and I’m doing a Logitech brand deal), great food, and a big health/wellness vibe that fits my running routine. Plus, we’re more central for travel, and my mom’s moving down here too—about 10 minutes away. Fresh start across the board, and I’m bringing you guys along as we build the new setup and settle in.
